Admission Policy

Mwandege Boys is a community of learners who embrace the value of lifelong learning and the power of knowledge. We aim at providing the most ideal environment for learning, helping students to learn how to learn the “life process” of education. We welcome boys of all races, religions, cultures and consider application in the beginning of the academic year of Ordinary and Advanced level and in some cases throughout the year based on space availability.

There are two intakes one for Ordinary Level (Form One, Form Two and Form Three) and the other intake for Advanced Level for the combination of (HGL, HKL and HGK).

i). Students who will be joining form one should have the following qualification

• Should complete primary education and pass standard seven national examination
• Student must be able to sit for interview written examination though we believe every student can change
• Students must be able to sit also for oral interview

ii). Student who will be joining Advanced level should have the following qualification.

• Should have sit for Form Four Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) and atleast have Division III.
• Without prejudice of what a fore mention above, a student must have at least three credits (C grade and above) in any three subject which obtained in CSEE.
• Moreover, a student must have a minimum pass of CCD in combination subjects.

NB

• Students with outstanding performance will be awarded. Best students in Form four National Examinational with Division I point 7 will be awarded withpart of full scholarship for Advanced Level.
• Academic Achievement – Although a Mwandege boy offers stimulating educational programs, we accommodate students with a range of academic abilities, provided they are able to adequately access and benefit. We make this determination primarily by reviewing students’ school records in Secondary School but also we believe every student can learn and Change.
• The enrolment team leads by the Chief Facilitator in charge of guidance under School Management Team have a mandate to alter the above joining conditions due to circumstance.

Scholarship

In Mwandege Boys we believe in enabling academically gifted students to fulfill their personal potential by receiving better education, which they would not otherwise have due to financial problem that why the chairman decide to  provide a full part scholarship to a student who performed best in Form Four National Examination.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for a full academic year is

• Form Ordinary Level is Tshs 2,500,000/-
• Form Advanced Level is Tshs 2,200,000/-

Why Mwandege Boys School

Here students will learn to learn. Every Facilitator gives assignments that consist of work that inspires students to learn and understand.

The School environment attract student to learn such as three equipped Laboratory room, Library full of Learning material, a computer room with internet access and a Football pitch. A variety of extracurricular activities and students clubs.

At Mwandege Boys we conduct many extracurricular activities designed to prepare the students to face the real world confidently. We have a program called “What is not taught in School (WTS)”. The main objective of this program is to make students exercise their mind with the “outside-the-box” mentality.

In order for our student to have more learning experience and exposure, we are arranging various trips within the country.

Dinning

A proper diet is vital to our students’ achievement. Keeping our students’ minds and bodies active and healthy through a good and proper diet.

Dormitory

Our students come from all the country provide them with a better place for resting is our priority that why Mwandege Boys have good and suited dormitory for our students.

Laboratory

Our laboratories are equipped with all important facilities which facilitate all necessary experiments conducted for lessons.

Library

Our libraries are equipped with enough books which can accommodate every student in learning process continuous.

Playing Ground (Sports And Games)

Besides the strong academic focusing we also provide equal importance to physical and psychological development of our students. To emphasize on this, our school areas include different playing grounds and sports activities like chess, checker and card games.

Mwandege Boys have well-structured and organized classroom to enable teaching and learning activities to proceed smoothly.
