WELCOME TO MWANDEGE SCHOOL
Mwandege Boys High School is being administered with neither bell nor a whistle. Students need a pen, diary and a wrist watch for time keeping. Our students become planners from day one. Apart from the studies provided following the Tanzania Syllabus, the founder saw that there was a gap from what is in the school curriculum and what is happening in real life.
This is the reason that Mwandege Boys High School has the program called “What is not taught in school program (WTS)” of which students are encouraged to be problem solvers rather than being victims of circumstance. Having intrinsic – motivation rather than waiting for extrinsic motivation.
The American psychologist BF Skinner famously declared that “education is what survives when what has been forgotten.” For all or Mwandege students, the measure of the quality of their education will line not just in the strength of the examination results , but in the values, friendships and attitudes that last many more years than any understanding of the nuances of trigonometry.
